My Kid will be Guinea Pig again...

10 years down the line, Joelle will be another 'GUINEA PIG' for Malaysian's Education System. Why can't we had English medium in Technical Subjects @ school? Lack of english speaking teacher?? incompetent teachers?? or Just because some 'nerdy sastera' famous people lead a 'mogok' to boycott English???

The recent concluding remarks: The Government has announced that Mathematics and Science will be taught in Bahasa Malaysia effective 2012!!

For those who suffer from PTK Exam (Civil Servant) especially those taking technical/ engineering subjects .... EXAMPLE: CAN someone just tell me what is engineering term of 'Tetulang' in English???? What about Sequence Bacth Reactor (SBR) in BM??? ...

From International and $$$$ view point - HOW MANY CIVIL SERVANT CAN SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH OR DRAFT REPORT IN ENGLISH??? Asking WORLD BANK or IFC accept BM report when we or our government wanted to borrow money? or Do we wanted to persuade Western or CHINESE or ASIAN FDI using BM for investing in Malaysia?? .... we will be less competitive compared to other developing country for luring $$$$ into our country.

We adult had already suffered from the initial usage of BM in PMR/ SPM/ STPM years back and now we intend to revert back to the old system....

Remember ENGLISH is INTERNATIONAL & we all are just too naive to 'kill it' just because certain group disagree or at the moment no teachers can speak well in that language.

Please go to Tun Mahathir's blog & VOTE whether u wan teaching of Sc & Maths in English. Tun is strongly supporting English (Ah Bern too!!...along with all the kaki movie and 'kaki gagal PTK' should voice out). So please go to http://chedet.co.cc/chedetblog/ & speak your mind.....

*Do it today for the sakes of our kids*

Yes Yes !! I did that...

Yes Yes ! my fellow friends... I had resigned since last month.... that's not a rumors and it's for real. I don't go around tell everyone of you... but I did it in a formal way... I am quitting, not because I am not happy with things are nor too stressed out (in facts I am in a very comfort zone of my career) but taking this big step more toward to personal matters.
That's my resignation letter...something that is hard to submit/ deliver/ and hand over to my superior.

*still be around in office until time for me to pack up.

My DeceptiCON @ Home

Days @ home with Joelle...

A great DeceptiCON transforming @ Home....
She must be bored with me sticking my head onto my NT Screen for hours trying to reply my mail.... SOHO a.K.a working at home. Within minutes she become Transformer ...using mummy's spaghetti box.
It's A SQUARE HEADBOT....What a good laugh!

HanaZen

It seem that Jaya ONE had so many restaurant....Since we were already in the mood for some Japanese food for celebrating CK bye bye to Kuching for good, both of us headed to the Japanese restaurant in Jaya One - Hanazen. It would be a waste if I wouldn't try it myself..... The place was lovely. It was quite packed with people drinking SAKE.... book before you dine!

Interior of restaurant is abit small but cosy. Do ask for the non-smoking section though as there seems to be a smoking section at the back.

What we ordered?

Sake teppanyaki salmon set

Japanese fried rice ..
Ikan Bilis... exported from Mukah to Japan... then rebranded into Sake anchovies and resell to Malaysia...no wonder so expensive.
Salmon....salmon...salmon...why Jap love Salmon?

Ah Bern had the onigiri (Rice Ball) - salmon. Cost RM8 each.
Miso soup...or Ajinamoto Soup.
Ah Bern's Nigiri Sushi Zen's - Assorted sushi set.

The whole table was packed with foods basically. The food was good. Expect to pay around RM 70 and above for a decent meal.....for that price, the service was good and place was really cozy. Do book in advance (my advice). A good Japanese place to visit in Jaya One area...Will we go back? Probably..

Father's Day @ Pizza Hut, Bangsar - Mediterranean Treat

Last weekend Father's Day treat from Joelle *Lol* ...actually from her mum.

We went for Pizza Hut @ Bangsar. We presume that will be a place where most Bangsar people will 'not go' during Father's Day...and we are right about it. There is only a few family munching the pizza or couple sit on and waited for be served. We almost had the restaurant by ourselves.
We are able to get a taste of new dish from the exciting Mediterranean under its 'Exotic Mediterranean' food promotion at the fast food chain that gives its customers a rare opportunity to try out pizzas and side dishes from that region.... not so 'Ho Chiak' but creative.
Pizza Hut's Wingz....
BreadStix
Soup of the Day
Pasta for Joelle...all vegetable.
'Happy Father's Day' to be remembered.
