If anyone want to go for Steamboat sure will enlisted Sunway. Sunway Mentari can now be thought as a place for steamboat buffet because there are now so many similar restaurants opening there. So, competition is high and doing a normal steamboat buffet might not attract customer anymore ....especially Ah Bern.
I am not a steamboat guy but this definitely more economical than the Tian Sian in Kuching. At least the SOUP BASE is the same or better than Tian Sian with additional Soya Beans Soup...
We arrived early ... where there is no hungry steamboat goers.

But within 30mins... the whole place is packed not only inside but also to the parking bay and road side.
First time ever ordered a Soya Bean soup and Herbal Soup with no MSG also leh...and the price is so cheap compare to Tian Sian's..It is soya milk mixed with chicken broth. Oh by the way, Tasty Pot is a pork free and beef free restaurant..
GRILL? no problem. pick anything and send it to the grilling section.... the sifu will grill it for you.

The most important factor for a good steamboat meal is of course the raw ingredients. Tasty Pot has a lot of variety from greens, seafood, chicken, fish, fish balls, fu chuk, yong tao fu, mushrooms and many more.
As for dessert, there's Nyoya kuih and ice-cream.
Remarks: Please do not waste your food, there's penalty in unfinished food
